Opportunities From: The Glitter Guild

Each Thursday morning a volunteer is needed to pick up laundry from 4-5 families and deliver to the assigned laundry volunteers.  Kate will make the pick-up/drop-off route on Wed eve.  The delivery volunteer will pick up the laundry bag from the families' front door and drop off at the front door of the assigned volunteers.  This is a little-to-no contact opportunity and takes approximately 2 hours or less.

Laundry will be delivered to volunteer on Thursday morning.  Volunteers will complete and return to family within 24 hours.

Please help us to glitter the Hundertpfund family with a few extra meals.  While the adults are traveling for treatment, grandma will be staying with the children and would be so grateful for the additional support!

In addition to our normal Tuesday meals, the Hundertpfunds will be receiving Thursday meals.  Please provide a main dish, a side of fruit or veggies and a dessert.  This family will be one adult and two small children.  There are not any dietary issues.

Volunteers are needed to help with our fall clean up.  This is a great opportunity for families, teams and everyone looking for service hours.

Please bring your yard tools - gloves, lawn bags, rakes, water bottles.  We will be raking leaves, pulling weeds, and minor trimming to prepare yards for winter.

Home assignments will be sent a few days prior.

Glitter Volunteers are needed to support the Frost Family.

Each Sunday a volunteer is needed to cut up a week's worth of fruits and veggies for the kids to have as handy snacks.  Please clean and cut up some of the following:  cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, apples, celery, broccoli and carrots (or any other seasonal fruit).  This family has two children and will need enough to last until the following Sunday.

Please deliver to the cooler on their front porch.

Each Sunday a volunteer is needed to cut up a week's worth of fruits and veggies for the family to have as handy snacks.  Please clean and cut up any of the following: cantaloupe, watermelon, grapes, strawberries, apples, celery, broccoli and carrots (or any other seasonal fruits/veggies).  This family has two teens and will need enough to last until the following Sunday.

Families are being treated to meal kits from Moe's Southwest Grill.  We are in need of volunteers to deliver dinners to 3-4 families.  We will meet at the restaurant at 4:30.

Do you love to spread joy? Our Saturday Treats program is for you!  Help the Glitter Guild to spread joy with your healthy snacks, flowers, candles, seasonal delights of any kind that can be delivered to our glitter families.  These treats will be delivered to our families who have strict dietary needs so please be sure NO processed foods, NO candies, NO sugar, NO gluten, etc. will be given.  We will assign families who need a little extra joy by the Friday prior to delivery.

Deliveries can be done at any time on Saturday.

Do you love to bake?  Or, just want to spread some joy? our Saturday Sweets program is for you!  Spread joy with your home-baked or store-bought goodies and deliver to our glitter families.  Let us know how many families want to glitter and we will assign families who need a little extra joy.
